Surfer priority (or right of way) is managed with a strict (but fair) one-at-a-time system – wait your turn, and when your wave comes, it’s yours. Snaking (paddling inside another surfer to “steal” their spot), dropping in (taking off on another surfer’s wave) and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated, and repeated infringements may lead to being removed from the session or venue.
